Plane crashed in Washington's Mutiny Bay

Ten people, including a child, were on board the plane

US Coast Guard's Pacific Northwest district said the Plane went down shortly after 3 pm.

The body of one person has been recovered, other 9 Person is still missing 

Capt. Daniel Broadhurst said "It is always difficult when it comes time to make a decision to stop searching,"

The operation was called off mid-Monday after the Coast Guard said it conducted 26 sorties, searching 1,283 nautical miles of track line covering an area of approximately 2,100 square nautical miles.

Mutiny Bay is just west of Whidbey Island and about an hour north of Seattle.

It was traveling from Friday Harbor en route to Renton when it crashed shortly after 3 p.m
